Q: How does CT Checkout work for web merchants?

A: With an encrypted prepaid debit card on their CT Checkout App, your customer’s iPhone or Android phone are now acting as their personal consumer terminal. Any payment through CT Checkout  will always save you in processing fees as compared to being paid by a typed in card transaction.

Q: How long does it take to add CT Checkout to my ecommerce store?

A: Setup is easy and simple, and can be completed in as little as 10 minutes. Simply  sign up for your merchant ID: http://184.168.28.106/webmerchants/ 

Once you have been issued your merchant ID, we will then send you a  the plugin to install on your WooCommerce/WordPress site with 3 easy steps for set up. 

It’s that simple! After this is completed, CT Checkout will show up as a payment method on your checkout page.

Q: What is CT Checkout’s overall transaction rate?

Q: What are your monthly minimum transaction rates? 

A: On average 2% but it depends on the type of encrypted card being used.  A corporate travel card is always more costly to the merchant than a standard credit card. 

Q: Do you charge extra for card not present transactions?

A: This would not apply when CT Checkout is used for transactions.

Q: How much does it cost to add CT Checkout to my ecommerce store? What exactly are you charging me for?

A: There is no cost to add CT Checkout to your ecommerce store at this time. 

Q: Will adding CT Checkout affect my current processor?

A: This is entirely up to you – adding CT Checkout will not affect your current processor, however should you wish to switch all processing over to CT Checkout that can be accomplished as well. 

Q: Do I need to fill out a Merchant application? If so, does this mean you’re going to run my credit?  Hard or soft inquiry?

A: In order to be boarded, our processor, FIS Global, will run your credit as a soft check, which does not affect your credit score.

Q: Is there an annual contract to use CT Checkout?

A: Terms for using CT Checkout are month-to-month. Cancel any time with 30 days notice.

Q: Is there a termination fee if I choose to discontinue using CT Checkout? 

A: There are no termination fees. 

Q: How difficult would it be to remove CT Checkout from my ecommerce store and who would I contact? How long does it take?

A: Removing CT Checkout from your ecommerce site is as simple as adding it. Typically this only takes ten minutes. Feel free to reach us via email: merchants@184.168.28.106.

Q: Do you provide me with a monthly merchant statement? If so, how do you deliver this to me?

Q: Can I take a payment from a customer with my phone (scan credit) to receive their CC payment?

A: No, all encrypted card transactions originate from the CT Checkout app on an iPhone or Android phone from your customers.
